Storage
Pricing
S3-compatible object storage on NVMe with a free tier to start and zero egress fees at every scale. Hard-capped by default — it never silently starts billing.
Start free, on real hardware
The free tier runs on the same all-NVMe infrastructure as everything else — the full S3-compatible API with presigned URLs, multipart uploads, and access keys included.
Without a card on file, hitting the 5 GB cap blocks writes rather than starting a bill — your existing objects stay readable. Paid usage only ever happens once you've added a card.
Beyond the free tier
$0.015 per GB per month
With a card on file, pay-as-you-go keeps you writing past 5 GB automatically. Overage is prorated hourly from your prepaid balance — add an optional monthly cap if you want a hard ceiling — and writes pause again if the headroom runs out, never a surprise bill. Egress stays free.

What would your bill be?
Slide in your workload. Downloads are where storage bills hide — and where Edge charges nothing.

PUT / POST requests
5 GB free, then 245 GB × $0.015/GB. Downloads and requests are free at any volume.
Paid usage is opt-in: set a monthly budget on the billing page, billed hourly from prepaid balance.
AWS S3
$5.75 storage + $36 egress + $9.00 requests
Google Cloud Storage
$5.00 storage + $60 egress + $9.00 requests
Cloudflare R2
$3.60 storage + $0 egress + $0 requests
$47/month saved vs AWS S3 — 93% less.
Published standard on-demand rates: storage, egress, and per-request operations. Permanent free allowances are credited (AWS 100 GB/month transfer; R2 10 GB storage, 10M reads and 1M writes/month); time-limited promotional tiers are not. Edge charges nothing for egress or requests.
Your data. Free to leave.
Egress is where object storage bills hide their cost — retrieving a terabyte from S3 costs around $90. From Edge Storage it costs nothing, at any scale.
Zero egress fees
Serve public files, restore backups, or migrate away entirely — data transfer out is always included.
All NVMe
No spinning disks and no archive-tier retrieval delays. Every object is on NVMe and served at full speed.
Volume pricing at scale
Enterprise volume pay-as-you-go from $499/month with per-GB volume pricing, a 99.99% SLA, and an account manager.
Pricing FAQ
Everything you need to know about how storage billing works.
How does the free tier work?
Every account gets 2 buckets and 5 GB of NVMe-backed, S3-compatible storage. A card on file is required, but the free tier never charges — it's sized to evaluate with a real workload.
What happens at the 5 GB cap?
With a card on file, pay-as-you-go covers it automatically: writes continue at $0.015/GB-month, prorated hourly from your prepaid balance (add an optional monthly cap for a hard ceiling). Without a card, writes are blocked — never billed silently — and your existing objects stay readable and served.
Are downloads really free?
Yes. There are no egress fees at any scale, which is where S3 bills hurt most — retrieving your own data from Edge Storage costs nothing, whether it's a backup restore or public file serving.
Is it actually S3-compatible?
Yes — the API speaks S3, so the AWS SDKs, rclone, s3cmd, and existing tooling work by changing the endpoint and keys. Presigned URLs and multipart uploads are supported.
What if I need more than the free tier?
Enterprise volume pay-as-you-go covers storage at scale with per-GB volume pricing, a 99.99% SLA, and an account manager. Talk to us about your workload and we'll price it precisely.
